Profile Calibration.

This useful cart makes maneuvering the heavy ADCP simple and easy and for loading and unloading the ADCP into and out of the calibration stand with minimal physical effort.

Downward Profile Calibration Stand (Long Ranger)LR-1BLR 1B Cal Stand

The LR-1B Calibration Stand is designed to let you easily load a Teledyne RD Instruments Long Ranger ADCP and to hold it at a stable 15 degree tilt for Downward Profile calibration procedures.

The base plate and ball system are designed to hold the instrument in a balanced position, and the level and smooth rotation of our base turntable makes the 360 degree rotation of this configuration very easy to physically perform. A simple rotation to another axis orientation for each of the next 2 steps of the calibration procedure is also easy to perform. The result of this smooth motion calibration equates to improved overall standard deviation for the desired minimum error factors (less than 1 degree) for more consistent HARD and SOFT Iron calibrations. This equates to more accurate data collection from your ADCP.
